Pinned Article Facilities Overview

Facilities Services is comprised of approximately 65 full and part time employees, each one committed to providing excellent service to the students, faculty, and staff of Illinois Central College.

Custodial

Custodial Services at ICC oversees daily cleaning, detailing, all floor work and any emergency requests.

Event & Office Set-up

This department oversees all set-ups for various campus activities including meetings, signage, moving, and relocating furniture and equipment.

General Operations

General Operations receives and delivers all items shipped to ICC. Mail Services receives, sorts, and delivers all mail on all campuses. The Mailroom is located in 104A on the East Peoria Campus with convenient hours Monday thru Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm.

Green Campus

The Mission of Energy Management is to reduce energy consumption, educate all stakeholders on the importance of energy conservation, and to be good stewards of our College’s resources and the environment. Additionally, we strive to be on the leading edge of energy efficiency while supporting energy investment, innovation, and resilience resulting in more funds for educational purposes and a positive environmental impact.

Grounds Maintenance

The ICC Grounds Maintenance staff consists of approximately 4-year-round and 5 seasonal dedicated workers who are responsible for maintaining the landscape on all our campuses.

Maintenance

Our mission is to provide all users of ICC properties with exceptional facilities and outstanding customer service support. The facilities Services department will provide and care for the physical assets that support the goals and objectives of the college.

Pest Control

Safely and effectively eliminates pests from inside buildings and grounds at all ICC campuses.

Recycling

Illinois Central College is committed to producing an environmentally sound campus by reducing the amount of waste sent to the landfill, promoting the reuse of materials that once would have been thrown out, and recycling as many items as possible.
