Maintenance

Facilities Maintenance and Operations strives to provide exceptional service while reducing the cost of services per square foot. The maintenance team is dedicated to the continuous improvement of services and staff and works to maintain a diverse, skilled, and efficient workforce. The team achieves this by promoting an atmosphere of shared responsibility and providing an opportunity for all staff members to contribute innovative ideas and methods.

The facilities maintenance team consists of approximately 12 workers and is on call to ensure the maintenance of all campuses. The maintenance team is known as the "go-to" team for everything from broken windows to painting.

Responsibilities

  • Miscellaneous building maintenance – repair and replacement of windows, doors, door closures, floor-tile, ceiling-tile, fire alarms, light fixtures, light bulbs, electrical receptacles, etc.
  • Restrooms – repair, maintain, or replace fixtures such as lavatories, urinals, sinks, mirrors, soap dispensers, etc.
  • Installation – bulletin boards, chalk boards, white boards, and clocks.
  • Heating and cooling equipment
  • Elevator equipment
  • Special events – projects and/or construction
  • Kitchen equipment
