Use our Counseling Services patient portal to make appointments with counseling services and track your progress.

Log into Your Account
The Counseling Services patient portal can now be accessed with your Microsoft OneAccess account. Go to icc.medicatconnect.com and you will be prompted to enter your Microsoft credentials. (Ex. ab123@icc.edu). Once signed in, follow the rest of the instructions in this article to book or cancel an appointment and/or message a counselor.
Make an Appointment
Follow these steps to make your counseling appointment.
Navigate to the menu on the left and select appointments.
Appointment Details
Please select your preferred appointment options.
- Tell us the reason for your visit.
- Indicate your appointment type and preferred location.
- Select "Initial" if it is your first session, or “follow up” for any session after the first one.
- Select the name of the counselor you wish to see.
- After you submit, choose the date and time for your appointment.
Please note: You will only see your counselor's available time.
First Appointment Paperwork
We require all students who engage in counseling to first fill out an informed consent form.
Portal Check-In
Log in to view your upcoming appointment and check in. This will let us know that you've arrived and we'll be out shortly to get you. You will be prompted with a link to the video chat platform if you are online.
Please check in for your appointment using the patient portal. You can check in 15 minutes before the session begins.
Informed Consent
This form details your rights as a counseling client and means you agree to take part in the counseling process.
- Navigate to Forms
- Complete the form.
Fill out CCAPs
At each appointment, you'll complete our Counseling Center Assessment, CCAPs. You can fill out your CCAP in the waiting room before your appointment.
- Navigate to Forms
- Select the CCAPs for your appointment.
The CCAPS assessment measures distress levels in multiple areas of mental health that a college student typically is managing at any given time.
Cancelling an Appointment
If you would like to cancel an appointment, you can do so from the patient portal.
- Once you are logged in, you will see a red “Cancel” button with a small “x” below your upcoming appointment.
- Click and submit.
If you need to cancel and the appointment is less than 24 hours away, please message/email your counselor to let them know as well.
Message Your Counselor
If you would like to contact your counselor, you can use the online patient portal to message them directly.
- Navigate to the menu on your left and click the blue “Message” tab.
- In the middle of the screen you will see the option to select “Compose” which will open up a new message.
- Click submit and send the message to your counselor.
