Illinois Central College is transitioning student email, work, and collaboration tools from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365. This change creates a unified technology environment for students and employees, improves collaboration, and aligns student tools with modern workplace standards.

For Students
Activate your OneAccess / Microsoft 365 account when you receive your claim email. Contact IT Service Desk if you have not received your claim email or need it resent to you.

- Download or move important files from Google Drive to OneDrive (storage is limited).
- Save any critical emails or information from Gmail.
- Update your email address with external contacts and services
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I don’t receive my claim email?
- Contact IT Service Desk via email, phone, or a service ticket to resend your claim email. Contact information is at the bottom of the page.
Which email address should I use?
- January – May 2026: Continue using @lab.icc.edu. Messages will be forwarded to your @icc.edu mailbox once your Microsoft 365 account is activated.
- Beginning May 18, 2026: OneAccess accounts MUST be used on all ICC student/lab computers
Will my old @lab.icc.edu address stop working?
- No. Emails sent to your @lab.icc.edu address will continue to be delivered.
What happens if I don’t activate my Microsoft 365 account?
- You must activate your account to receive official ICC communications. After August 1, 2026, ICC will only use your @icc.edu address. Failure to activate may result in missed announcements and important notifications.
