OneAccess Account Claim Computer Instructions

Before you start the claim, check out the short video at the bottom of the claim process.
Follow these steps to claim and set up your OneAccess Account from a computer.

From Your Personal Email

You should have received an email at your personal email address with the subject: Welcome to ICC – Please claim your account
 

You will also want to make sure you take note of the "Your Account Details" section. This will have the information you need to enter on the first screen of the claim, as well as telling you your new email is the @icc.edu.

To start the claim on a computer, hit the blue "Claim Your OneAccessAccount" button.

If you do not see this email, please check your junk or spam folders in your personal email account. Call the Service Desk if you did not receive the email.

Claiming Portal

Follow the prompts to claim your account.

Click Next.

Locate Your Identity:

Fill in all fields with the information from the "Your Account Details" section inside of the claim email. It is recommended to copy and paste the information.


Click Submit.

Get a Pin

Select the second option to send a pin to your personal email address.

Enter the PIN you received and click Verify.

Recovery Information

Enter your personal email address and your Cell Phone number for your recovery information, and click Update.

You will get prompted for another pin like in the step above.

Enter and confirm your own new password, and click Reset Password.

Click Complete to finish the claim portal process. 

It will say logging you out, do not close out of the screen proceed to the next section below.

Processing

At this point, the system will process your account information. This may take up to one minute.

After your account processes, you'll be redirected to your email at mail.icc.edu.

Your "OneAccess" Email

Sign in to your new "OneAccess" Outlook email .

Use the email address provided in the "Your Account Details" section of the claim email. (@icc.edu)

Enter the password you created in the previous step. 

Click Next to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Setup 

Download Microsoft Authenticator App

You will be prompted to download the Microsoft Authenticator on your second device. This can be found in the Apple App Store or on the Google Play Store. You can also click the corresponding button on the screen and it will take you too the download.

Once you download the app, go back to the computer instructions and hit next till you get a QR code. You can then open the app on your second device and hit scan QR code to add the account.

Get Code and Confirm

You will receive a two digit code on your computer screen.

You will enter that code onto the second device in the app.

Once the code is entered and it finishes syncing the account, you will get a screen saying "Authenticator Added" hit the done button.

It should then let you into your new OneAccess @icc.edu Outlook email account.

Process Complete

At this point you have completed the process. This will be your new ICC student account to log into anything ICC!
