What is Credit for Prior Learning?
Students with a wide variety of educational experiences can convert their experience into college credit, referred to as Credit for Prior Learning (CPL).
Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) methods require successful demonstration of knowledge and/or skills equivalent to a course(s) or competency(-ies). A student may have previous school experience or credentials that can be transferred to Illinois Central College to help them reach their academic goals faster.
