The Child Care Voucher Assistance Program is available to support our dedicated student parents. We offer financial assistance for child care to help you balance your academic goals with your family responsibilities. With our support, you can focus on your coursework while ensuring your child is well cared for.
Why Apply?
- Affordable Child Care: Receive financial support to cover a portion of your child care expenses at licensed local facilities or CCAP-eligible providers, including the on-site ICC Children’s Center.

Who Can Apply?
- FAFSA Applicants: Ensure you’ve applied for FAFSA to determine financial aid eligibility.
- Academic Achievers: Maintain satisfactory academic progress with a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- Child Care Enrollment: Your child must be enrolled at a licensed child care facility or CCAP-eligible provider within the ICC district, including the ICC Children’s Center.
- Financial Responsibility: Clear any outstanding balances to the childcare provider.
- Stay Informed: Notify ICC of any changes, such as child withdrawal from care, student withdrawal from classes, or change in eligibility status.
Program Benefits
- Generous Vouchers: Receive up to $100 per credit hour per semester (maximum $1,500). Amounts may vary.
- Direct Payments: We pay the child care provider directly, making it easier for you to manage expenses.
- Continued Support: To keep receiving funds, maintain your credit hours, verify your child’s attendance, and certify your eligibility each semester with a student support specialist
