Learn how to set up Call Forward Always on your Mitel desk phone—perfect for redirecting your calls when you're away from your desk or working remotely.
🔁 What is “Call Forward Always”?
Call Forward Always immediately redirects all incoming calls to another number.
It overrides other types of call forwarding (like busy or no answer).
📲 Set Up Call Forward Always

Press the Mitel blue button on your phone to open Applications.

Select Call Forwarding.

If a number is already programmed:

To enter a new destination:

Internal: enter a 4-digit ICC extension (e.g., 5422
)

External: enter 91
+ 10-digit phone number (e.g., 913096355555
)

Press Activate.
✅ A forwarding icon will appear in the upper-left corner of the screen when active.
🔄 Disable Call Forward Always

Open Applications > Call Forwarding

Press Deactivate
The forwarding icon will disappear from the screen.
💡 Pro Tip
If you're using MiCollab Softphone and have forwarding enabled on your desk phone, your calls may behave unexpectedly.
Be sure to disable forwarding on your desk phone if using MiCollab exclusively.
