New Employees should follow these steps to claim and set up their Network Account.

From Your Email

You should have received an email at your personal email address with the subject: Welcome to ICC – Set Up Your Network Account. Claim your account by clicking on the link. You will then be directed to the Identity Claiming Portal.

 

If you do not see this email, please check your Junk or SPAM folders in your email account. Call the Service Desk at (309) 694-5457 if you did not receive the email.

Claiming Portal

Follow the prompts to claim your account. Click Next.

Locate Your Identity

Fill in all fields and the Authorization Code from the Account Claim email that you received. Click Submit.

Get a Pin

Select the second option to send a pin to your email address.

Enter the PIN you received and click Verify.

Recovery Information

Enter your personal email address as the Recovery Email and your Cell Phone number, and click Update.

Enter and confirm your password.

Click Complete to finish the process.

Processing

At this point, the system will process your account information. This may take up to one minute.

After your account processes, you'll be redirected to the ICC Employee Email at https://mail.icc.edu.

Your Employee Email

Sign in to your employee email. Use the email address provided in the claim email as your user name.

Enter the password you created in the previous steps. 

Click Next to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Setup 

Download MFA App

Download Microsoft Authenticator on your phone. This can be found in the Apple App Store or on the Google Play Store.

Follow the prompts to complete the installation on your phone and then click Next.

Scan the QR Code provided on your screen.

Get Code and Confirm

You will receive a code in the app.

After you select the code, you'll receive a confirmation on your computer screen.

Additional Authentication

Now you will set up an additional method of authentication on your phone (SMS.) Please enter your phone number and choose to receive a code.

Enter the code you received in your SMS messaging app (text messages).

Process Complete

At this point you have completed the process. In the future, when you log into ICC systems from off-campus you will be prompted to authenticate with Microsoft Authenticator.
