Operational Standard/Purpose

To create a standard protocol for recognizing an outgoing Board of Trustee.

Scope/Applicability

This standard operating procedure applies to all Board of Trustees.

Procedures

  1. The outgoing Board of Trustee receives a gift of appreciation and a proclamation for serving as a Trustee for the ICC Board. The gift and proclamation is given at the last Board meeting prior to the Trustee’s official departure date.
  2. Gift: The gift for serving as a Board Trustee is a framed and matted print of the ICC campus(s) with a nameplate stating: first line - Illinois Central College, second line - Trustee’s name, third line - Board of Trustees and the years they served.
  3. Proclamation: The 8x10” proclamation is given in a 10 x 13” frame.

Additional Provisions/Information

If the outgoing Board Trustee is concurrently the Board Chair, refer to the Board of Trustees Outgoing Chair Recognition Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
