There is a new usability issue in Microsoft 365 that was introduced with some updates that Microsoft made in August 2026 which can manifest to users as an empty list of applications, missing the "other apps" section and all ICC SSO application links, and as extra sign-on screens presented to the user even though they're already logged in.
This issue appears to happen whenever you use the "waffle icon" application launcher from Outlook Web Mail:
Fortunately, this can be avoided by using a different method to get to your apps.
Method 1: You can use the direct link here: https://m365.cloud.microsoft/apps
Method 2: Use the waffle icon from a different app, like from OneDrive.
