Summary
The OneAccess account is provided by Illinois Central College (ICC) to give students access to college systems and Microsoft 365 services. These accounts are owned and managed by ICC, are hosted on Microsoft 365, and are subject to college policies, including acceptable use and security requirements. ICC reserves the right to monitor, modify, or remove access at any time, and users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account and any data stored within it.

The OneAccess account is provided by Illinois Central College (ICC) to support student access to college systems, services, and resources, including Microsoft 365.
By claiming and using your OneAccess account, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
Account Ownership and Control
- Your OneAccess account is the property of Illinois Central College.
- ICC reserves the right to modify, suspend, restrict, or delete your account at any time, with or without notice.
- Account access may be changed or removed based on enrollment status, policy violations, security concerns, or operational requirements.
Acceptable Use
- You are responsible for all activity performed using your account.
- Use of your account must comply with all ICC policies, including the Information Security Program (ISP) and Acceptable Use standards.
- Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Unauthorized access to systems, services, or data
- Sharing your username, password, or authentication methods
- Use of ICC systems for illegal, harmful, or disruptive purposes
- Attempts to bypass security controls or misuse system resources
Privacy and Monitoring
- Use of your OneAccess account is subject to the ICC Privacy Statement.
- Users should have no expectation of personal privacy when using ICC-owned systems or accounts.
- ICC may monitor, access, or disclose account activity and data as necessary to:
- Maintain system security and integrity
- Comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including FERPA
- Investigate suspected violations of policy or law

Data and Account Lifecycle
- Data stored in your OneAccess account (including email and OneDrive files) may be deleted without notice when your account is deactivated.
- ICC is not responsible for retaining personal data after account access is removed.
- Students are responsible for backing up or transferring any important data prior to leaving ICC.
Security Responsibilities
- You must maintain the confidentiality of your password and authentication methods.
- You are required to follow ICC security practices, including multi-factor authentication where applicable.
- Any suspected compromise of your account must be reported immediately to the Technology Service Desk.
Third-Party Services
- Your OneAccess account provides access to services hosted by third parties, including Microsoft 365.
- Use of these services is also subject to the applicable terms and policies of those providers.
- ICC is not responsible for service interruptions, data loss, or changes in functionality originating from third-party providers.
- In the event of a conflict, ICC policies and these Terms of Service govern your use of your OneAccess account as an ICC resource.

Enforcement
- Violation of these Terms of Service or ICC policies may result in account suspension, termination, or referral for disciplinary action.
- Serious violations may be referred to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
Changes to Terms
- ICC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time.
- Continued use of the OneAccess account constitutes acceptance of any changes.
