What is Zero Textbook Cost or ZTC?
A course marked Zero Textbook Cost will not have a cost associated with a textbook or other reading materials. Fees for materials such as calculators, lab supplies, and other subject specific supplies may still apply.
How to find ZTC Courses?
To see what courses have Zero Textbook Cost, you must first navigate to the course schedule.
1. Start at icc.edu, select "MylCC" at the top right-hand corner.
2. Then select "Search Classes".
3. You will see two drop down menus, one that says "Course Attribute" and one that says "Course Attributes." We will use both.
4. In the first drop down menu, "Course Attribute" select "Textbook Cost".
5. In the second drop down menu, "Course Attributes" select "Zero Textbook Cost".
6. Finally, select "Search" and you will see a list of courses with Zero Textbook Cost. You can also add additional filters such as subject to narrow your search.
