Import Events from File to Outlook

You can import events into Microsoft Outlook using a .ics calendar file. These files are commonly used for course schedules, training calendars, or external event invites.

🖥️ Import into Outlook (Desktop App)

1. Open Outlook.

2. Go to:
   File > Open & Export > Import/Export

3. In the Import and Export Wizard, select:
   Import an iCalendar (.ics) or vCalendar file (.vcs) → click Next

4. Browse to and select your .ics file → click OK

5. When prompted, choose:

   • Open as New to keep it separate

   • or Import to merge with your current calendar

🌐 Import into Outlook on the Web

1. Save your .ics file to your computer

2. Sign in at: outlook.office.com

3. Go to your Calendar (📅 icon in the sidebar)

4. In the left pane, click Add Calendar

5. Select Upload from file

6. Click Browse and choose your .ics file

7. Select the calendar you want to import to
