Summary

This article walks you through how to clear the cache in all of the major browsers (as of late 2022.)

Body

What is a web browser cache?
Your web browser cache is a database of files used to store downloaded files on your computer.  When you return to a website, your browser can use the files stored in your cache such as images, HTML, text content, and Javascript to make the site load faster.

Why should I clear it?
When you clear your cache, it prevents you from using old information, and can help applications run better in your browser, particularly when a system or web site is being updated.
